We were able to find work right away when we moved to our new town, so that was nice to be able to keep us from getting nervous about our risky new adventure.Having the savings allowed us to quickly feel comfortable transitioning into having me stay home and putting my time into building my business (this blog!).With that savings we were able to make the transition from working crazy full-time hours in a stressful corporate job to taking a risk and eventually being able to work from home (amazing!!).

The Fall fair was coming to my mud room!.The Fall fair is a place where flashy lights mix perfectly with corn mazes, food stands, displays of pumpkins and mums, and plenty of live stock.. Every Fall on (Canadian) Thanksgiving long weekend, there’s a Fall fair here that we really enjoy going to.

I thought this would be a great way to set the mood..I used plenty o’ corn, and some rubber boots for stomping through all that mud when you’re visiting the horses and chickens.. $3 mums from Walmart get all fancy in a galvanized pail with some burlap and ribbon.
